Let us assume that, actual price of dinner set was Rs. 100x .

So,

→ Actual price = Rs. 100x

→ Discount = 20% of actual price = (20 * 100x)/100 = Rs. 20x

then,

→ Umaima bought the dinner set for = Actual price - discount = 100x - 20x = Rs. 80x

→ 80x = 52000

→ x = (52000/80)

→ 100x = (52000 * 100)/80 = Rs. 65000 (Ans.)

Hence, the actual price of dinner set is Rs. 65000 .

Direct formula :-

→ Actual price = (Selling price * 100) / (100 - Discount %)

→ Actual price = (52000 * 100)/80

→ Actual price = Rs. 65000 (Ans.)
