Amount require to purchase 3 sarees = 3 × 560
= 1680 Rs.

amount require to purchase 6 bottles of honey = 6 × 90 = 540 Rs.

hence, total amount = 1680 + 540 = 2220 Rs.
now, A/C to question,
she received a rebate of 12% .
it means , she gets discount = 12% of 2220
= 12 × 2220/100 = 266.4 Rs.

hence, total amount did she pay = 2220 - 266.4
= 1953.6 Rs.

hence, answer is 1953.6 Rs.

Hi,

Answer: 1953.60 Rs

Solution:

ATQ amount of 1 sari = 560 Rupees

Total amount of 3 sari = 560 x 3 = 1680 Rs

Amount of 1 honey bottle = 90 rupees

Amount of 6 honey bottles = 90 x 6 = 540 Rs.

Total amount paid for the shopping = 1680 + 540 = 2220 Rs

Discount Offered by shopkeeper = 12 %

Calculate 12 % of 2220

= (12 x 2220)/100

= 26,640/100

=266.40 Rs

Amount paid by umapati for all items = 2220-266.4 Rs

= 1953.60 Rs

hope it helps you.
