Answer:

atfirst we will find area of 1 piece

let a=20cm,b=50cm,c=50cm

after this we have to find it's semi perimeter and the formula for it is

s=a+b+c/2

so; s=20+50+50/2

s=60cm

now it's time to take out it's area

so;area of one triangular piece= √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

now put the value at their places

√60(60-20)(60-50)(60-50)

√60*40*10*10

√2400*100

√400*6*100

√20*20*2*3*10*10

20*10*√6 or 20*10*2.449

200√6 or 200*2.449 that is 489.8

the area of 1 strip is 200√6 or 489.8

so the area of 10 piece will be 200√6*10 or 489.8*10

=2000√6 or 4898

cloth needed to make 1 umbrella is 2000√6 or 4898

so the cloth needed to make 100 umbrella will be 2000√6*100 or 4898*100

=200000√6 or 489800

hope it'll help ^-^'
