Explanation:

Comparatively Trivandrum is the cleanest city but in some areas it have the uncleanliness similar to other Indian cities, its not a big deal for an Indian city. But Trivandrum is a small city only 26% size of Chennai city. So it is comparatively easy to maintain good cleanliness all over the city. It requires good political will and people’s participation. Now its the time of south-west monsoon in Kerala, the low lying places will now start to get flooded. The disturbing factor is that the city centre itself is one of the low lying places in the city. Improving the drainage system, introducing a good slum development project and converting the city’s heritage streets into walking streets could possibly be a starting point for the foreseen future.
