under constant acceleration the average velocity of a particle is half the sum of its initial and final velocities .is this still true if the acceleration is not constant?EXPLAIN

no this will not hold true for variable acceleration because laws of motion holds good for only constant acceleration. for variable acceleration differentiation and integration is used to calculate its derivatives.
