Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

(A) 7 : 8

● Explanation -

According to Avogadro's law, equal volumes of gases at the same temperature and pressure contain equal numbers of molecules.

For mass X of oxygen and nitrogen, moles of oxygen will be X/32 and moles of nitrogen will be X/28.

Hence, ratio of volumes will be O2:N2 = X/32:X/28 = 7:8.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
