Civil Disobedience movement was launched by Gandhi to give effect to the 'Purna Swaraj', resolution which was passed by the Lahore session of Congress in 1929. Civil Disobedience began with the breaking of salt law by Gandhi after his famous Dandhi March, from 20 March to 6 April, in 1930.
