Answer:

When gas is cooled till its critical temperature, the gas state starts converting into a liquid state. Above this temperature, the gas state will exist and below this temperature, the liquid state will exist. As the pressure increases above the critical temperature, more and more compression of liquid takes place.

Answer:

1- By increasing pressure of gas-

When you apply pressure on a gas, its constituent particles start getting closer. At a particular pressure when these particles are bound with the force of attraction between each other, phase transition take place and the gas converts into liquid. The situation is reverted as soon as the pressure is released.

2-By decreasing temperature of the gas-

When you decrease temperature of a gas,the kinetic energy of constituent particles decreases as a result of which particles start settling down and getting closer to each other. At a particular temperature, the particles get so close that they are bound in force of attraction and here the phase transition takes place. The gas converts to liquid.

In these ways, gas can be converted into liquid.
