Thus the speed of the particle is constant (or uniform), but the direction of the motion is different at different points of the circular path (At A, it's east. At B, south. At C, west. At D, north).
At any point, the direction of motion is along the tangent drawn at that point of the circle.
Thus, the velocity of particle in circular motion is variable or the circular motion is accelerated even though the speed of the particle is uniform.
