" All quantities in term of which law of Physics can be Express and which can be measured directly or indirectly are called physical Quantities "

Physical quantities can be classified into two types :-

fundamental physical quantities :-

  • The physical quantity which are independent of any other quantities are called fundamental physical quantities

Example :-

Mass,lenght, Time, electric current, thermodynamic temperature etc.

Derived physical quantities :-

  • The physical quantities which can be derived from fundamental quantities are called derived quantities.

Example :-

Area, Volume, speed, Velocity etc
