universal law of gravitation holds good for any two bodies in the universe, then why you and your friend sitting next to each other not feel any force of attraction?

we do not feel any force of attraction because the value of gravitational force G is so small that is 6.673*10^-11Nm²kg-²..............

therefore due to very small value , we do not feel it.

however it is large enough to attract big planets and other things towards itself.

Answer:

, because the force of gravity is very, very weak. Attraction due to gravity is not noticeable unless one of the objects is as massive as, say, a large asteroid. Meanwhile, on earth, we have friction, air resistance, and other factors that will tend to prevent objects from accelerating.
