Pure substances are substances that are made up of only one kind of particles and has a fixed or constant structure. While, a mixture is the physical combination of two or more substances in which the identities are retained and are mixed in the form of solutions, suspensions and colloids.

Example of pure substance is diamond and water. While example of mixture is honey and muddy water.
