“Industrialisation and urbanisation go hand in hand.”

The given statement is justified because :

(i) Industrialisation causes growth in available factory jobs. Thus, as employment rate increases it pulls people from various places and leads urbanisation.

(ii) People start moving towards cities for jobs and they gradually develop into urban centres. Sometimes industries are located in or near cities.

(iii) Cities provide markets and also provide services such as banking, insurance, transport, labour, consultants and financial advice, etc to the industry.

Thus, it can be concluded that industrialisation and unbanisation go hand in hand.

It is indeed true that urbanisation and industrialisation goes hand in hand.

The reasons being :

● wherever industries are set up people are required to work in them, for that purpose people start migrating from rural areas to urban areas which causes urbanization.

● when population in cities increase various other facilities will also increase which will lead to attraction of other peoples which will lead to urbanisation.

● cities provide more job opportunities as compared to the rural areas which is why people from rural areas come to cities and urban areas.

● even if industries are set up in rural areas it will lead to the development of that area providing opportunities for manufacturers and other facilities which turns that underdeveloped area into a developed one.
