yes , urbanisation leads to environment stress Becoz for construction of factories and building many of the trees had to be cut down.
and also the pollution caused by the factories.. etc. also leads to damage in environment...and yes we also have seen in the several years about all the destruction and loss happening in our world.. hence to satisfy human s need .. we are causing a loss to the environment!

Urbanization is the process of expanding the cities . This process had created many problems for our environment. Setting up of cities and industries had resulted in large scale deforestation and many types of pollutions too.the poisonous gases which are release from industries causes water , soil and air pollution. The large scale deforestation also led led to soil erosion.thus we can say that this urbanization is very useful for our development but not for our environment and our surroundings .
