now subtract BC from equation (1)
AC-BC =BD-BC
AB=CD
hence proven

it is simlpe
given AC = BD
but AC =AB+BC...1
and BD = BC +CD.....2
equate 1 & 2
AB+BC=BC +CD
AB = CD hene proved
given AC = BD
