PHOSPHORUS SHOWS CATENATION BECAUSE IT FORMS A SINGLE P-P BOND WHILE NITROGEN ON THE OTHER HAND FORMS A TRIPLE BOND .HENCE THE BOND DISSASSCOATION ENTHALPY OF PHOSPHORUS IS LESS THAN THAT OF NITROGEN.THEREFORE IT SHOWS THE PROPERTY OF CATENATION.
