Given :   y=25-3x and y=3x-7

To Find : use algebra to calculate the point at which these pair of line intersect

Solution:

y = 25 -3x

y = 3x - 7

Equate y

=>  3x - 7  = 25 -3x

=> 6x  =  32

=> x = 32/6

=> x = 16/3

y = 3x - 7

=> y = 3(16/3) - 7

=> y  = 16 - 7

=> y =  9

( 16/3 , 9 ) is the  point at which these pair of line intersect
