2x-3y=4.

Multiplying eq1 with 2

2(x+y)=5×2

2x+2y=10.

Now,

2x+2y=10

2x-3y=4

So,

2x+2y-10=0. Eq2

2x-3y-4=0. Eq3

Subtracting eq2-eq3

2x+2y-10 -(2x-3y-4)=0

2x+2y-10-2x+3y+4=0

5y-6=0

y=6/5

Putting value of your in eq1

x+6/5=5

x=5-6/5

x=19/5
