SOLUTION

TO DETERMINE

Use Euclid′s lemma to find the HCF of 360 and 810 and hence find their LCM

EVALUATION

Here the given numbers are 360 and 810

Now

 \sf{810 = 2 \times 360 + 90}

 \sf{360 = 4 \times 90 + 0}

Hence by Euclid′s lemma the HCF = 90

We know that

HCF × LCM = Product of the numbers

Hence the required LCM

 \displaystyle \sf{ =  \frac{810 \times 360}{90} }

 \displaystyle \sf{ =810 \times 4}

 \displaystyle \sf{ = 3240}
