2x^2 = 5 + y  -- (i)

4y = -20 + 8x^2  --- (ii)

Solve the equation for y.

y = 2x^2 - 5

Place y in (ii).

==> 4(2x^2 - 5) = -20 + 8x^2

==> 8x^2 - 20 = -20 + 8x^2

==> 0 = 0

Hence, Equation is not possible.
