Using (x+a)(x+b)= x2+ (a+b)x+ab
(X+4)(x+10)=(4)2+(4+10)10+4*10
= 16+140+40
=196

harshita072003p8v5wh: how's x2 = 4x
harshita072003p8v5wh: how's x2 = (4)2
anu522: HEYA IT IS WRONG..
anu522: X WILL NOT BE ANY NUMBER IT IS VARIABLE
harshita072003p8v5wh: yup
9461669798: it is given that value of x is 4

HEYA....

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER...

IDENTITY IS - [x+a] [x+b] = x^2 + [a+b]x + ab

here a = 4

b = 10

therefore - ans is--- x^2 + [10+4]x + 10*4

= x^2 + 40x + 40

hope helped...
