Required Answer:-

According to Newton's 2nd law of motion, Force is directly proportional to the rate of change in momentum of any body. By further derivation, we will get that Force is the product of mass and accleration.

That means, m = F/a.

In the graph:-

Accleration is given in the X axis and the Force is given in the Y axis. That means, the inverse slope of the above graph will give the mass of the object.

Hence, mass:

= 1/slope

= Force/accleration

= 1 N / 0.5 m/s² (Let at the intersection)

= 2 kg (Ans)

The result i.e. mass that we can determine from the graph will remain the same since it is a straight line.

In this bar graph the Force ( N ) is converted as ( 1 N )

Hence , the 1st slope of bar graph is 0.5m/

Hence the mass of the 1st slope -:

= 1 / slope

= Force / Accleration

= 1 N / 0.5m/s²

Ans = 2 Kg

The correct answer is " 2 kg "
