Use the Elimination Method.
{8x−2y=14
{−4x+y=−6

Hey Mate!!

here's the solution:-
✏️ (8x-2y=14)--(1).
(-4x+y=-6)--(2).

From equ. (1) & (2), we will multiply (-4x) by (2) to make same digits or whatever you call it. then,
8x-2y=14.
-8x+y=-6
________
y=8

And put value of y = 8 in equations and get the answers.
