(AC)^2=(AB)^2+(BC)^2
=(24)^2+(7)^2
=576+49
=625 cm
=25cm
Area of triangle ABC=1/2×base×height
=1/2×24×7
=84 sq. cm
Now length of BD
here base of triangle is AC=25cm
and height is BD
So area =1/2×base×height
84=1/2×25×BD
BD=6.72cm
