uses of AgBr in photography

AgBr used as a component of an emulsion that helps developing a photographic image. As it is sensitive to light so when exposes to light, AgBr decomposes &as a result, it preserves a photographic image. This emulsion is formed on cellulose acetate with the help of thin gelatin layer which may increases its light sensitivity.
