The two reactions given in picture justify that chemical reactions are also determined by change in colour and change in temperature.
(i) Heating of hydrated copper sulphate crystals, i.e. colour changes.

(ii)i.e. temperature increases
Hope it helps!!!!!! :)

During a chemical reaction when there is a colour change it confirms that a chemical reaction has taken place

Example CuSO4 + Fe → FeSO4 + Cu

(Blue) (Green)

When there is change in the temperature during a chemical reaction they are known as endothermic and exothermic reactions.

Example for Change in temperature chemical reaction

Methane (natural gas) + oxygen ==> carbon dioxide + water (+ heat energy) CH4 + 2O2 ==> CO2 + 2H2O.
