Generation Gap

'Times are changing now and so are we,' is a thought that summarises the philosophy of the youth. But what about their previous generation, do they too believe in it? That is the question.

The young generation flow with the tide. They update themselves in technology, fashion, trends and acclimatise perfectly with time. But the older generation prefer to hold on to the trends of their times. They feel more comfortable in their old shoes. They like what they call 'their good old times'.

What a contrast! This contrast leads to the generation gap. Generation gap has been a persistent problem of the human race since time immemorial. The great Romantic poet-John Keats has expressed it in a very classical and beautiful way through his unfinished poem 'Hyperion'.

It is ominous that there will always be this ongoing gap between one generation and the other. Whatever be the circumstances the two shall never meet!
