if x+2 is the factor this means

x=-2

p(x)=x^4+x^3-12

so p(-2) = 2^4+2^3-12

=16+8-12

=24-12

=12

hence proved

Aloklegend: no
Aloklegend: answer is -4
Aloklegend: check your second step
Aloklegend: p(x)=-2 but you took it only 2
