Put A=45 and B=30
then,sin15=sin(A-B)=
sinAcosB-cosAsinB=sin45cos30-cos45sin30 (1)
Now,sin45=cos45=1/√2
and,sin30=1/2,cos30=√3/2
putting these values in equation (1)
we get
1/√2×√3/2-1/√2×1/2=√3/2√2-1/2√2=(√3-1)/2√2
