first find eqns fo line between points -2,1 and 0,4 and then eqn of 0,4 and 2,3.
and then make y the subject of equations, and then integrate between limits -2 to 0 this [3/2(x+2)+1.dx] + 0 to 2 [4-x/2.dx].
Make the value absolut since area is always positive.
Answer will be 5+7=12 sq. units.
