Draw a line AB of length 12 cm.
Now From point A, draw arcs of radius 1 cm, 2 cm, 3 cm, 4 cm, 5 cm, 6 cm, 7 cm, 8 cm, 9 cm and 10 cm to cut AB. Mark those points as -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4..
Now from point marked -3, count four integers to the right. you will find "1" as the answer.
