Using one coordinate plane, graph the lines y=−4x+1 and y=2x−3, and find the coordinates of the point of intersection. Now find the coordinates of the point of intersection without using the graphs. Compare the results.

Put y= -4x + 1 in y= 2x -3
We get

-4x + 1 = 2x -3
6x = 4
X = 2/3 and similarly we get y = -5/3 ( put x in y= 2x -3 or y= -4x +1 )
Hope you got your answer
