$x {}^{2} + 7x + 10 = 0 \\ x {}^{2} + 2 x + 5x + 10 = 0 \\ x(x + 2) + 5(x + 2) \\ (x + 5)(x + 2) = 0 \\ x + 5 = 0 \\ x = - 5 \\ x + 2 = 0 \\ x = - 2$

So two answers are possible-2 and -5
