Hlo friend..

P(x) = x³-2x²-4x-1
G(x) = x+1

Put G(x) = 0
x+1 = 0
x = - 1

P(-1)= (-1)³ - 2(-1)² - 4(-1) - 1
= - 1 - 2 +4 - 1
= 4-4
= 0
Remainder is 0.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU
