Answer:

point (1,-4),(2,-3) and(4,-7) form a right angled triangle

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say  A = (1 , -4)

B = ( 2 , - 3)

C = ( 4 , - 7)

Slope of AB =  (-3 - (-4))/(2 - 1)) = 1/1  = 1

Slope of BC = (-7 - (-3))/(4 - 2)  = - 4/2 = - 2

Slope of AC = ( -7 - (-4))/(4 - 1) = -3/3 = - 1

Slope of AB * Slope of  AC   = 1 * (- 1) = -1

=> AB & AC are perpendicular to each other

point (1,-4),(2,-3) and(4,-7) form a right angled triangle

Verification

AB = √2

BC = √20 = 2√5

AC = √18 = 3√2

AB² + AC² = BC²
