The answer would be 23+23+23+31.

1) The desired sum here is 100 which can be written as 12*8+4.

2) All the numbers provided can also be written as multiples of 12 with sum remainder.

3) 49 = 12*4 +1

31 = 12*2+7

23 = 12*1 + 11

12 = 12*1+0

4) So, here we can see which numbers form a multiple of 12  when added.

5) Also take care that adding 12 as the remainder should increase the multiple by 1.

6) 12*1 + 11+12*1 + 11+12*1 + 11+ 12*2+7 = 12*5 + 40 = 12*8+4 = 100
