Answers for the questions are given below-

A) aim of activity is to test the presence of salivary amylase.

B) liquid A is starch.

C) First test tube had saliva added in it, which contained salivary amylase. The enzyme broke starch into its constituent units, and hence iodine could not react with starch.

Thus blue colour complex could not form, which showed up in second test tube, due to presence of starch.

D) Enzyme salivary amylase released from salivary glands in mouth, is responsible for such result.

E) On chewing piece of bread for long time, carbohydrate namely starch is acted upon by salivary amylase. This breaks the starch into glucose, and hence it tastes sweet.
