⭕️We do not take weight of gold because weight of a substance is not constant and varies with places.

➖For example :-

like a body will weigh more in the poles than in the equator.

⭕️We know that the Weight is the force of gravity that acts on a body of a given mass.

⭕️Mass is the measure of the amount of substance of the body.

⭕️ Weight is measured by spring balance.

⭕️ Now since we know the mass of gold and not its weight so we do not measure gold by spring balance.

⭕ We do not take weight of gold because weight of a substance is not constant and varies from place to place.

⭕ Example ------- A body will weight more at the poles of equator.

⭕ Spring balance is depend on the acceleration due to gravity and value of gravity varies from place to place.

⭕ So due to the aforesaid reason weight of gold is not measured by spring balance.
