The steps are as follow:
- To find median first we have to arrange data in increasing or decreasing order here we will arrange data in increasing order as follow:
11,13,13,17,19,23,25
- Here n is number of given data which 7 i.e. odd
- So the formula for median will be as follow:
Median = M= (n+1)/2 th observation = (7+1)/2 th observartion
M = 8/2 th observation = 4th observation
M = 17
Hence the median of the calls received on 7 consecutive days will be 17
