The circular motion of a body having uniform speed is known as uniform circular motion
In circular motion speed remains constant but velocity changes continuously due to change direction. Thats why a body moving in circular motion with constant speed is an example of accelerated motion.

When an object moves in a circular track/path with uniform speed,it's motion is called uniform circular motion.
Example-if the athlete moves with a velocity of constant magnitude along the circular path, the only change in his velocity is due to the change in the direction of the motion.
