(1) Observe the diagram and answer the questions given below:-
(a) State the principle of this separation
technique.
(b) Why can't we separate a mixture of oil and
water by this technique?
(c) Which separation technique will you use,
if the round-bottom flask contains ethyl
alcohol (B.P. 78.3°C) and acetone
(B.P. 56°C)?
