Final velocity = v = - 1/2.

Given :

Initial velocity , u = 2

acceleration , a = -5

time, t = 1/2

To find : Final Velocity = v = ?

Solution :

We can use the 1st equation of motion to find final velocity, initial velocity, acceleration and time.

For  final velocity we use the equation of Newton's first law of motion i.e.

Final velocity = initial velocity + acceleration multiplied by time.

v=u +at

Putting values in the equation,

=2 + (-5) x 1/2

= - 1/2

Therefore, The final velocity of the equation is - 1/2.
