All the bank that falls under the control regulation and provision of Reverse Bank of India were operated and owned by a private person except State Bank of India.

Later on, 14 of the largest commercial banks were affected as per the Nat ionisation from midnight of 19th July and get approval on presidential end by 9th August 1969.
