Explanation:

The distance from the equator affects the climate of a place. At the poles, energy from the sun reaches the Earth's surface at lower angles and passes through a thicker layer of atmosphere than at the equator. This means the climate is cooler further from the Equator.

hope it will help you

Answer:

The distance from equator highly influences the climate of a place.

Explanation:

Equator is the place which receives the highest amount of sunlight.

I. Regions near the equator receives highest amount of sunlight and therfore has a very hot climate. And as we move away from the equator the climate becomes some what cooler.

II. This also affects the pressure condition of the areas. The equatorial regions are generally low pressure zones and therefore it attracts the polar winds towards it.

III. The difference in the temperature, and pressure also cause the monsoonal changes in the different regions
