The idea that personal satisfaction is superior to any material rewards is one of the main theme in the story. Patol Babu realized that personal satisfaction cannot be measured or weighed by money. Money did not surface anywhere in his scale of satisfaction. For him, the dedication and perfection with which he fulfilled his role was more important.
Patol Babu did not act in the film only for money. It was his passion that made him decide to act in the film, even with the minor role of a pedestrian. However, Patol Babu proved his ability and talent in acting. He felt happy and contended with his performance as he had captured the essence of the role in his character very well.
