a= k-4

b= 2k-4

c= 2

b2-4ac=0

(2k-4)^2 -4×(k-4) ×2=0

4k^2-16k+16 -(4k+16)2 =0

4k^2-16k +16-8k + 32=0

4k^2-24k+48=0 (÷ whole eq by 4)

k^2-6k+12=0

k^2-6k=-12

k(k-6) =-12

k=-12 or k-6=0

k=6
