“ WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN, SOCIALIST, SECULAR ,DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens:

Many ethos and qualities enshrined verbatim in preamble were either implicitly or explicitly adopted by freedom fighters like: Equality, Justice for all, Democracy, Unity, Communal and Religious Harmony etc.
