as - ×(multiply) - = positive number +
so,
a) -(-2/20) = 1/10
b) -(-4/15) = 4/15

(i)x = 2/20

-(-x) = -(-2/20)

= 2/20 = x

(ii) x = 4/15

-(-x) = -(-4/15)

= 4/15

{ negative × negative = positive}
{ (-) × (-) = (+) }
