Rain is a boon after the scorching heat of summer. It brings relief and Joy to everyone. July and August are the months of rainy season in our country. It was first of July when my school reopened. It was very hot that Day. Everybody was waiting for rain . Fortunately at noon the sky was covered the dark clouds.

Our school was over at 12:30 P.M . Cold breeze began to blow . Soon it started drizzling. We were still in the way when it started raining cats and dogs. All our clothes and books were wet. We reached home in an hour . On reaching home I saw that my mother and father were anxiously waiting for me. Seeing Me my mother became very happy. She bought dry clothes and asked me to change them. I was quite wet yet I welcome the rain very much.

ઉનાળાના તીવ્ર ગરમી પછી વરસાદ એ વરદાન છે. તે દરેકને રાહત અને આનંદ લાવે છે. જુલાઈ અને ઓગસ્ટ અમારા દેશમાં ચોમાસાના મહિનાઓ છે. તે પહેલી જુલાઈ હતી જ્યારે મારો શાળા ફરી શરૂ થયો તે દિવસ તે ખૂબ ગરમ હતો. બધા લોકો વરસાદની રાહ જોતા હતા. સદભાગ્યે બપોરે આકાશમાં ઘેરા વાદળો આવરી લેવામાં આવ્યા હતા.
અમારું શાળા 12:30 પી.એમ. ઠંડા પવન ફૂંકાવાથી શરૂ થાય છે ટૂંક સમયમાં જ તે ઝરમર ઝુંડ શરૂ થયો. અમે તે રીતે હજુ પણ હતા જ્યારે તે બિલાડી અને શ્વાનોને વરસાદી નાખવાનું શરૂ કર્યું. અમારા બધા કપડાં અને પુસ્તકો ભીના હતા. અમે એક કલાકમાં ઘરે પહોંચ્યા ઘરે પહોંચ્યા પછી મેં જોયું કે મારી માતા અને પિતા મારા માટે આતુરતાથી રાહ જોતા હતા. મને જોઈને મારી માતા ખૂબ જ ખુશ થઈ ગઈ. તેમણે શુષ્ક કપડા ખરીદી અને તેમને બદલવા માટે મને કહ્યું. હું તદ્દન ભીની હતી પરંતુ હું વરસાદ ખૂબ સ્વાગત.
