Given:

Varun can do work in 10 days.

Arun can do the work in 15 days.

they work together for 6 days.

To find:

What fraction of work is left after 6 days of working together.

Solution:

Number of days Varun takes to complete the work = 10 days

Part of work Varun can do in 1 day = \frac{1}{10}

Number of days Arun takes to complete the work = 15 days

Part of work Arun can do in 1 day = \frac{1}{15}

Part of work Varun and Arun will do in one day = \frac{1}{10} + \frac{1}{15} = \frac{1}{6}

Part of work Varun and Arun will do in 6 days = \frac{1}{6} x 6 = 1

Therefore, they will complete all the work in 6 days and no fraction will be left.
